Job Responsibilities

As Goodwin's Head of People, you'll lead all things talent and culture at Goodwin. You’ll build from the ground up—starting with recruiting and onboarding, and quickly expanding to performance, engagement, manager enablement, and people ops. This is a builder’s role: you’ll roll up your sleeves early, ship what works, and then scale it with the right team and systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive the full People function—from hiring to retention
  • Design and operationalize recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and L&D
  • Partner with leadership to shape org structure, headcount planning, and team development
  • Cultivate a high-trust, high-performance culture that scales with the business
  • Implement people systems and processes that support speed without sacrificing quality
  • Act as a strategic partner to team leads across the company

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of People leadership experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Proven ability to build and scale People functions
  • Equal parts strategic and hands-on—you move fast and sweat the details
  • Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, low-ego approach
  • Experience working with distributed teams is a plus
