Goodwin Company Acquires STACK.aero
Acquisition brings together aviation business operations, integrated financial services, real-time payments, and financial automation to simplify how charter businesses operate and move money worldwide.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — October 20, 2026 — Goodwin Company, a financial technology platform built for charter aviation that helps connect brokers to banking and payment services, today announced its acquisition of STACK.aero, a global provider of aviation business operations and customer relationship management technology.
The acquisition represents another step in Goodwin's strategy to modernize the financial infrastructure of charter aviation, connecting the systems used to source, sell, and manage flights with technology that integrates banking and payment services with financial reconciliation.
Founded in 2014, STACK.aero has developed an established technology platform serving charter brokers and aircraft operators, with capabilities spanning customer management, aircraft sourcing, quoting, contracts, trip management, and business intelligence.
By bringing STACK.aero into the Goodwin ecosystem, the companies intend to connect these operational capabilities with Goodwin's banking-service integrations, enabling more of the charter transaction lifecycle to operate within a connected financial and technology environment.
Connecting Charter Operations With Modern Financial Services
Charter aviation is a global, around-the-clock industry, yet much of its financial infrastructure continues to rely on traditional bank transfers, disconnected accounting systems, and manual reconciliation.
Goodwin is addressing that challenge with technology that supports real-time payments where available, while connecting financial transactions directly to individual trips.
The addition of STACK.aero extends this vision by connecting established aviation business workflows with modern financial technology.
"Goodwin was built on a simple belief: the charter broker isn't going anywhere," said Tolga Demirel, Co-Founder of Goodwin Company. "The relationships and trust behind this industry are irreplaceable, and STACK.aero shares that belief. By bringing our technologies together with Goodwin's banking-service integrations, we have an opportunity to connect the entire charter journey, from the first conversation to final reconciliation, and fundamentally improve how brokers and operators do business around the world."

Building a Connected Financial Ecosystem
The combination is expected to support a more integrated experience for charter brokers, operators, and their customers, including:
- Embedded Financial Services: Bringing access to banking and payment capabilities closer to the workflows charter businesses already use.
- Real-Time Payments: Facilitating faster movement of funds between customers, brokers, operators, and service providers, including outside traditional banking hours where available.
- Automated Financial Reconciliation: Connecting trip information, invoices, payments, commissions, and vendor disbursements to reduce manual accounting.
- Integrated Business Operations: Connecting customer relationships, sourcing, quoting, contracts, and trip management with financial workflows.
- Global Financial Infrastructure: Supporting the increasingly international nature of charter aviation, where transactions involve multiple parties, currencies, and jurisdictions.
The companies envision an environment where a charter inquiry can move from initial request to proposal, booking, payment, and reconciliation with fewer manual steps and greater financial transparency.
Expanding Goodwin's Global Reach
STACK.aero brings significant international aviation experience, with an established presence in the United States and Australia and relationships across global charter markets.
Its technology, built on Salesforce, has been developed specifically around the complex workflows of aviation sales teams, charter brokers, and aircraft operators.
STACK.aero will continue as its own product and brand within the Goodwin ecosystem. Greg Jarrett will remain CEO, and the existing STACK.aero team will stay in place, bringing its aviation expertise and industry relationships into this next chapter.
Existing STACK.aero customers can continue using the platform as they do today. As the companies connect their technologies, customers will have the option to take advantage of new integrations.
"STACK.aero was built by aviation veterans who understood that brokers and operators needed more than generic software. They needed technology purpose-built for the way this industry actually operates," said Greg Jarrett, Founder and CEO of STACK.aero. "Goodwin shares that understanding and brings complementary financial technology and payment capabilities to the table. Together, we have an exciting opportunity to connect more of the charter business while keeping the relationships and people behind it at the center."
A Broader Vision for Aviation Fintech
The acquisition follows Goodwin's continued investment in technology that brings access to financial services directly into the charter booking and trip management experience.
With banking-service integrations, instant payment capabilities, dynamic trip-level accounting, and an expanding set of connected services, Goodwin is building infrastructure designed to support charter businesses from initial customer engagement through final financial settlement.
"Every charter trip is also a financial transaction involving multiple parties," added Ben Clarke, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Goodwin. "Our vision is to make the movement of money as seamless as the movement of information. By bringing operational workflows and banking-service integrations together, we can eliminate friction that has existed in this industry for decades."
The acquisition reinforces Goodwin's long-term commitment to building a globally connected financial technology ecosystem for charter aviation.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
